THE DEBUT show by artist Claire Lyons opens this week at The Limerick Museum.
‘To Jack’, curated by Limerick artist Catriona Osborne, is a “deeply personal exhibition (that) offers a unique exploration of family, identity, and the connections that define us”.
It tells the story of the artist and her father, Jack, who are not biologically related but chose each other as family.
“I hope that the work invites viewers to reflect on their own relationships and feel gratitude for the love they experience,” said artist Clare Lyons.
An opening, with discussion from the artist, will take place from 5.45pm on October 8.
Admission throughout the exhibition is free, running until October 24.
