Three in a row as Adare Manor named Europe’s Best Resort for third year running

A LUXURY Limerick resort has been named the Best Resort in Europe for the third year in a row by a leading travel magazine, sparking a three-in-a-row for one of Limerick hurling’s biggest patrons.

The Limerick resort was awarded the accolade after over half a million readers of Condé Nast Traveler cast their votes on their favourite luxury resorts across Europe.

A total of 575,000 people voted in the Reader’s Choice Awards, with Adare Manor topping the table for the Best Resort in Europe for the third year in a row.

Brendan O’Connor, general manager of Adare Manor, said that being awarded for the third year running is an “extraordinary honour”.

“To be named Best Resort in Europe for the third consecutive year is an extraordinary honour. This recognition means so much to us, as it reflects the opinions of the most important people to all of us at Adare Manor — our guests,” he said .
