PREPARING for its annual flagship event, The Northstar Family Support Project will gather for the Annual Service of Commemoration and Hope on October 3 at the Augustinian Church, on O’Connell Street in Limerick City.
Joe Slattery, coordinator of Northstar — Limerick’s family support group for those affected by addiction — invites anyone struggling for hope to attend the service from 6pm on October 3, offering a chance for reflection and connection.
The event, first held in 2008, highlights the ongoing issue of substance misuse and allows those in need of support and who have lost loved ones to find kinship.
