SHANNON Chamber has announced that it has added a number of new members to their board of directors.

Five new members have been added to the board, who Shannon Chamber say will “strengthen the company’s leadership team and demonstrate the Chamber’s commitment to representing the needs of a diverse membership base”.

Those added to the board are David Keating, Director of Manufacturing Technology at Ei Electronics; Adrian Sylver, Head of School at Shannon College of Hotel Management; Colin MacDonald, CEO of Fine Grain Property; Marlo Kearney, Operations Manager with PPG Specialty Coating; and Eoin Hoctor, Owner of Eason Shannon.

Shannon Chamber CEO Helen Downes said that the new directors will enhance the chamber’s planning for the Shannon region, and also paid tribute to the board’s outgoing members.

“Given the representative nature of our business, the bespoke sectoral knowledge and skills the five new directors bring to the Board will greatly enhance our strategic planning for Shannon and the wider region,” Ms Downes said.
