YOUNG Munster – like Old Crescent – are through to the semi-final stage of the Munster Senior Challenge Cup.
This follows a real good 49-24 defeat of UCC at Tom Clifford Park. The winners crossed for seven tries courtesy of Hubert Gilvarry (2), Aaron Roulston, Jack Shaw, Ronan Murphy, Donnchadh O’Callaghan, and Stephen McLoughlin.
On each occasion, the extras were added by the flawless Julien Leszczynski.
The Cookies open their AIL Divison 1A campaign at UCD on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the top flight, Garryowen host Lansdowne at Dooradoyle (2.30pm).
