IN a refreshing twist on weekend nightlife, the city is set to host Sober Seisiún, a series of alcohol-free events aimed at offering fun, social experiences without the hangover. Organised in collaboration with Limerick City and County Council’s Night Time Economy initiative, these events are perfect for those on a sober journey, health-conscious individuals, or unique social experiences without alcohol.
Sober Seisiún will kick off on Thursday September 26 from 8pm to 12pm, at Hook & Ladder, located on 7 Sarsfield Street. The events are completely free!
Here’s a taste of what’s on offer: Spill the Tea & Coffee: Sit back, relax, and chat over a warm cuppa.
Cartoon and Coffee: Revisit your childhood with nostalgic cartoons.
Mocktails & Music: Enjoy live music by Zen Residents while sipping delicious alcohol-free cocktails.
Booze-Free Board Games: Bring your competitive spirit for a fun-filled night of board games.
These events offer a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, support local businesses, and enjoy a new kind of night out. Whether you’re coming with a friend or flying solo, everyone is welcome!
