MATCHES and Old Flames is the new comedy from Tommy Marren (It’s The Real McCoy / 3 Hail Marys / Nobody’s Talking To Me) playing at Lime Tree Theatre this Friday September 20 and Saturday September 21.
The action takes place over two days in the home of Matta and Maureen Corcoran. Maureen decides to find love for her two maturing sons without their consent. Will her wishes come true or could her son’s carefully crafted plan to get rid of the ‘ladies’ make matters even worse? Throw into the mix tongue-twisters, rare diseases, a missing wife, a ‘dodgy’ sponge cake and news of an old flame and you have a storyline where love is put to the test like never before! Will Matches be struck or could someone get burned by an Old Flame?
