Henry Street Garda Station to offer behind the scenes look this Culture Night

HENRY Street Garda Station will be opening its doors to the public for a ‘behind the scenes’ tour this Culture Night (September 20).

Kicking off at 6pm, the Divisional Garda Headquarters at Henry Street Garda Station will be open to the general public with tours provided of the custody area and an introduction to the various specialised units within An Garda Síochána – including the Armed Response Unit, Divisional Scenes of Crime, Divisional Drugs Unit, Community Policing Unit, Divisional Roads Policing Unit; and Garda Reserves.

The roles of each unit will be explained along with a demonstration of the new body-worn cameras currently operating in the city.
