Mayor of Limerick John Moran encouraged as many people as possible to get involved in the various Culture Night experiences around the city and county this year.

“Culture Night Limerick is an opportunity to show appreciation for the immense talent that exists locally, bringing a vibrancy to our streets and towns,” Mayor Moran said.

“It is a demonstration of the energy of creativity and the pride we have in our artistic strengths and cultural identity. Join in the fun as we broaden our cultural horizons,” the first citizen added.

Limerick Arts Officer at Limerick City and County Council, Etain McCooey, said that Culture Night is an opportunity to experience the creativeness of the region.

“Culture Night is always great fun. It is a night to celebrate the cultural, artistic, and creative communities of our region by inviting existing and new audiences into our galleries, museums, workshops, libraries and studios,” she said.
