THE OLDEST art society in Ireland, the Limerick Art Society, will host its annual autumn exhibition in the Parkway Shopping Centre from September 14 to 29.
Along with the 70 to 80 new paintings by society members to be put on display, the annual show will include a special highlight on Culture Night (September 20) from 4pm including a presentation by long standing local Limerick artist Jim O’Farrel.
With the talents of nearly 100 members, the Limerick Art Society will be showcasing original works in acrylic, oil, watercolour, pastel, and pencil artists, with many works available to own.
