BT YOUNG Scientist winner Seán O’Sullivan will represent Limerick and Ireland at the EU Contest for Young Scientists in Katowice, Poland, this week.

The Coláiste Chiaráin Croom student’s project ‘VerifyMe’, which won this year’s national competition, will be on display again as part of the competition, which runs from September 9 to 15.

Taoiseach Simon Harris met with Seán at Government Buildings in Dublin before he headed off on his travels to Poland, wishing him luck at the European competition.

Shay Walsh, BT Ireland manading director, said that “not only is BT Ireland very proud to be custodians of the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, but each year our winners play an important role representing Ireland”.
