Abrahams set to debut for Munster

NEW signing Thaakir Abrahams, 25, will debut on the wing for Munster in Friday night’s pre-season outing with Gloucester at Virgin Media Park, Cork (7pm).

Former South Arica Under-20 international and Sharks player Abrahams joined the club from Lyon in the Summer.

There also a first start for Academy player Jack Oliver at scrum-half.

Oliver and Billy Burns have been paired together, with Seán O’Brien and Shane Daly forming a new centre partnership.

Abrahams, Liam Coombes and Mike Haley are named in the back three.
