AISLING Annacotty will hope to put some indifferent recent form behind them when Villa FC of Waterford visit in the Munster Champions Cup on Sunday (2pm).

In the opening round, Aisling easily accounted for Avenue United (Clare), 6-2. It proved a memorable return outing for Conor Coughlan who grabbed four goals.

Aisling suffered a totally unexpected 1-0 loss at Hyde Rangers in the Premier League at the weekend.

The only goal arrived through Alex Kiely in the 20th minute.

Regional United and Mungret Regional are current joint leaders in the League.  Action continues tonight (Thursday) in the competition with the stand-out fixture Regional United home to last season’s runners-up Pike Rovers.
