LIMERICK students are being encouraged to apply for the 2025 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSE) to follow in the footsteps of Limerick’s Seán O’Sullivan who took the overall prize last year.

Entries for the 2025 competition are now open, with the closing date set as September 27 at 5pm.

Next year’s BTYSE will take place from January 8 to 11, and will showcase projects from students across the country in the categories of technology, social and behavioural sciences, biological and ecological sciences, chemical, physical, mathematical sciences, and health and wellbeing.

Students can submit their entries on the BT Young Scientist website.
