Parkway turns 40 in style

A HUGE crowd attended the Parkway Shopping Centre last Saturday to celebrate the centreโ€™s 40th anniversary since it first opened its doors in 1984.

Jugglers, stilt walkers, clowns, as well as characters from Paw Patrol all made an appearance to the childrenโ€™s delight whilst adults enjoyed tea and cake as well as the free raffle which saw fabulous prizes given away on the day.

Cllr Kieran Oโ€™Hanlon was on duty to make presentations to long term staff.

As part of the event, donation buckets were dotted around the centre for Milford Hospice on the day and a thousand euro was raised for the charity.
