Collopy Cross slip road to be closed for number of weeks

The road at Collopy Cross is to be closed for a number of weeks.

ROAD users have been advised that the R526 slip road at Collopy Cross is to be closed for a number of weeks.

A statement from Limerick City and County Council explained that the outbound slip road towards the N20/N21 at Collopy Cross in Patrickswell, County Limeirck, was to be closed from Monday, August 12 until Monday September 9.

The local authority explained that the closure was to accommodate landscaping works being carried out at the junction.

A traffic management plan is in place and the Council has said that “any inconvenience caused is regretted”.
