Limerick designers encouraged to enter Irish Design Week

Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD).

THE NATIONAL Design and Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is calling on designers across Limerick to take part in Irish Design Week 2024, set to be held from November 11 to 15 this year.

Organisers say that this year’s theme, ‘Imagination for Opportunity’, invites innovative thinkers to explore and present creative solutions to pressing issues such as the climate emergency, the housing crisis, and social inclusion.

Last year, under the ‘Is Folklore the Future?’ theme, FORGE Design Factory hosted a series of Fireside Design Conversations at the LSAD Gallery in Limerick.

Interested designers, organisations, and creative professionals in Limerick should submit their proposals for funding applications before this Sunday, September 1.
