Shannon Airport shortlisted for two Digital Media Awards

SHANNON Airport has been shortlisted in two separate categories at the Digital Media Awards 2024 this year for its efforts in innovative app creation and clever collaborative campaigning.

The airport’s new app aimed at streamlining the air-travel process was recognised in the โ€˜Best Appโ€™ category for its wide-ranging features, including augmented reality bag size checkers.

Shannon Airport was also nominated in the โ€˜Best Collaborative Campaignโ€™ category alongside media agency partner Havas Media, for the ‘Shannon Airport Dream Partnership for a Dream Holiday’ campaign, which saw the airport hand out free flights to all 33 of its summer destinations.
