State-of-the-art car rental facility opens in Limerick

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent have opened a state-of-the-art new facility in Ballysheedy.

A CAR rental company has opened a state-of-the-art depot in Limerick, adding to its existing facilities in Cork and Dublin.

Enterprise Mobility says it has continued its growth in Limerick with the announcement of its new Flex-E-Rent depot in Ballysheedy.

Flex-E-Rent, according to Enterprise Mobility, provides commercial and accessible vehicle solutions for businesses and public sector organisations.

The new Limerick facility will also help to address the nationwide skills shortage by providing a career pathway from apprentice to master technician.

Over the last 18 months, Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has seen more than 215 team members progress and the creation of 31 master technicians across Ireland and the UK.

Danny Glynn, managing director of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent, said that the new facility will enable the company to nurture local talent.

“Our investment in this state-of-the-art facility will enable us to assist more businesses and public sector organisations with their vehicle needs, whether that’s for a few weeks, months, or even years,” he said.

He added that “the launch of this site will also allow us to attract and nurture talent locally. As the demand for skilled mechanics and technicians continues to rise, we are committed to offering comprehensive training, development, and upskilling opportunities as well as an attractive working environment.

“Our goal is to create a thriving workplace where people are excited to build their careers.”

Limerick Minister of State Kieran O’Donnell welcomed the opening of the new facility, saying that “as a local Minister and TD, I am excited to see Enterprise Flex-E-Rent invest in Limerick, benefitting local businesses and the community. I want to wish the entire team every success in the future”.
