A LIMERICK-based business has taken home a national award from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
Comfort Keepers, a home care company based in Limerick, was named as a Business All-Star All-Ireland Champion Home Care Company at this year’s awards.
The award, organisers say, aims to recognise the dedication of home care companies providing the best service possible for their clients.
Comfort Keepers employs over 150 people across Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary, offering a variety of services, including in-home care, companionship, and specialised care for individuals with chronic conditions.
Comfort Keepers managing director Collette Gleeson said that the award is testament to the “unwavering dedication” of the company’s caring staff.
“We are incredibly proud and honoured to be recognised as the All-Ireland Champion Home Care Company 2024 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the unwavering dedication and compassionate care our team provides to our clients every day,” Ms Gleeson said.
The managing director said that that “at Comfort Keepers, we remain committed to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve and will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do”.
Deputy Chair of the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring, said that “this accolade underscores Comfort Keepers’ unwavering dedication to providing outstanding home care services that significantly enhance their clients’ quality of life”.
“With a mission rooted in compassionate and personalised care, Comfort Keepers has become a leader in the home care industry.”
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna, explained that that in deciding this year’s award, judges “evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness, and performance, and we speak to customers, employees, and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.”
