CLONBRIEN Treaty will look to defend his WillWeGo.Com Irish St. Leger title at Limerick next Saturday night.

The Graham Holland-trained runner is owned by the Murphy family of Athlacca.

He won his semi-final in a quality time of 29.50 seconds.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for Greyhound Racing Ireland, said: “It’s hard to describe how much of an achievement it is to reach back-to-back classic finals nowadays.

“Clonbrien Treaty races from trap six at the weekend to defend his crown and it wouldn’t be a shock to anyone if he manages to pull it off. We could see history being made so make sure you tune in or even better yet, attend Limerick for a brilliant night out. Best of luck to all the deserving finalists.”
