DUE to stormwater drainage works, the R519 Ballingarry to Cahill’s Cross Road, from its junction with the R518 Ballingarry Main Street Junction to the L1208 at Cahill’s Cross Junction, is to be closed until August 30.

That’s according to Limerick City and County Council, who have advised road users that an alternative route is available via the L6034 at Lissamota to the L1216 at Bealduvroga to the R518 at Rylanes.

Local access is to be accommodated on the closed road, and the council has said “any inconvenience caused is regretted with delays expected”.
