Two Mid West hotels ranked in top 50 in Europe

A LIMERICK hotel has been named one of the best hotels in Europe in a new ranking.

Adare Manor once again reached worldwide acclaim after being ranked in 39th place in the top 50 best hotels in Europe, according to Big 7 Travel.

The prestigious ranking showcases some of Europe’s best hotels, focusing on unique experiences, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities.

This year marks the fifth year that Big 7 Travel has released its list, incorporating feedback and suggestions from readers to curate a collection that it says resonates with travellers.

The travel company ranked the luxury Adare hotel for its customer service, saying that staff were highly knowledgable and know all about the history of the hotel, noting that they are eager to share their knowledge with guests.

Big 7 Travel also said that there is a lot to do within Adare Manor’s 842-acre estate, with horse drawn carriages on hand to bring guests around the hotel’s grounds, as well as fishing, archery, and falconry.

Also ranking on the list is Clare’s Dromoland Castle, sitting at 46th place out of 50.

Big 7 Travel said that Dromoland brings an Irish fairytale to life, with the spa “not to be missed”.

The Clare hotel also offers falconry, whiskey tasting, and guests can try their hand at golf, with an 18-hole golf course on the site.

Topping Big 7 Travel’s list of best hotels in Europe was the luxurious Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, with each guest room having its own butler contactable through WhatsApp.
