MUNSTER’S URC outing with Leinster in October has been confirmed for Croke Park.

With Leinster’s main ground, the RDS, currently under redevelopment, the club has the Aviva Stadium as its main home venue for next season, but the attractiveness of a glamour showdown with Munster, Croker, and it’s 80,000-plus capacity, was always on the cards.

When Leinster/Munster clashed at the Aviva last Autumn, the fixture attracted an attendance of around 50,000 spectators.

Meanwhile, Bryan Fitzgerald (Garryowen) has joined Munster on a three-month contract, the club has announced.

Fitzgerald, 25, produced a number of excellent displays last season including scoring tries in the Munster Senior Challenge Cup Final and in the Division 1B playoff Final.
