A NEW grant scheme has been announced for those looking to help inject some excitement into Limerick City’s nightlife.
Limerick City and County Council announced the Night Time Economy Innovation Grant, offering funding up to €5,000 for ideas that contribute to Limerick City’s night-time offering.
The grant is open to local businesses, community groups, events organisers, artists and creatives, and individuals looking to trial innovative projects on Sunday to Thursday nights after 6pm this August to October.
The council is encouraging a wide range of applications, from night tours to poetry readings, comedy shots to live podcasts, storytelling extravaganzas to light shows, and everything in between.
Applications forms can be found on limerick.ie and must be made on or before August 9.
