RUNNERS will hit the ground jogging for a good cause once again this October, turning miles into money in the 2024 Cook Medical Mini Marathon, which was launched last week at the Strand Hotel.

Now in its 26th year, and with 3,000 expected to take part this year, the Mini Marathon will kick off on October 6 from the University of Limerick, offering five and 10-kilometre routes to run, walk, or jog.

Carla DiBenedetto, Cook race ambassador, said the annual run “is all about community spirit and enjoyment, while also raising vital funds for important causes.

“We are committed to fostering deep connections within our community and are honoured to be part of this event.”
