MUNSTER Champions Limerick have two players on The Sunday Game Hurling Team of the Year, announced following Clare’s thrilling All-Ireland Final defeat of Cork at Croke Park.

The new winners of the Liam McCarthy Cup have six representatives on the side, including the panellists’ pick of Shane O’Donnell as Hurler of the Year.

Limerick’s chosen pair are goalkeeper Nickie Quaid and defender Kyle Hayes.
