THE University of Limerick (UL) found itself ranked among the top 150 European universities, out of a total 684 higher level academic institutions, by global higher education analysts Quacquarelli Symonds.
This marks the second year that UL has bumped up in the EU-wide ranking.
And it’s not the only prestigious table on which UL found recent success.
The QS World University Rankings also placed UL at 421, cementing its position among the top three per cent of universities worldwide.
Deputy president Professor Shane Kilcommins said he was “immensely proud to see that University of Limerick has broken into the top 150 in the European QS Rankings.
“This achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the areas of excellence measured in the rankings.”
