He and another man were arrested last Tuesday (July 16) as part of a Garda operation targeting organised criminal activity in the Southern and Eastern regions.

The second male was released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Mr Casey appeared in court accused of two counts of participating in or assisting the activities of a criminal organisation, between July 9, 2020, and September 24, 2020.
