AFTER a number of months in ‘The Works’, a leading UK stationary retailer has opened its first outlet in a prime Limerick location.

The Works had the grand opening of its new store on O’Connell Street in Limerick City, located in the former Select and CompuB retail outlet.

The new store, set out across 2,000sq/ft of retail space, will bring 10 new jobs to the city, joining 4,000 already working for the company across Ireland and the UK.

The new O’Connell Street branch makes the chain’s eleventh store in Ireland.

Limerick TD Willie O’Dea joined new store manager Maureen Joyce for the grand opening.
