Over €60,000 funding boost for literacy services across Limerick

-

LIMERICK Further Education Minister Patrick O’Donovan has announced over €64,000 in funding to support literacy projects across Limerick City and County.

The funding will awarded by SOLAS to a number of projects in Limerick including the grandparent and children story sharing club, library, conversation and outdoor clubs, as well as the Fighting Words programme.

The funding will help to support adults across the county who have unmet literacy needs.

Minister O’Donovan said that the funding would support “adults to access the vital literacy services they need, helping us to work towards a more inclusive and equal society in Ireland”.
