LIMERICK Historical Society is giving people a good reason to enjoy the stretch in the evenings, having announced its next historical walk outing.
Wednesday July 17 will see the society meet from 7pm outside Fennessy’s Pub in Limerick City before heading off on an evening stroll to visit some of the city’s Quaker Houses in the area.
The evening will also include a talk about some of the families who lived in the area before 1950, before taking a walk back down the South Circular Road by the main Ballinacurra Bowman side.
The society says anyone interested is welcome to attend, including non-members.
