Dean of Flexible and Work Based Learning Seamus Hoyne, President of TUS Professor Vincent Cunnane, Student Rosangela Condori, and Careers and Employability Manager Aoife Prendergast.

THE Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) hosted its third Employability Plus Awards, in an effort to recognise outstanding students who took part in work placement programs.

The awards came amid news that the Mid West university has a post graduate employment rate of almost 90 per cent, the highest in the country.

Speaking at the ceremony Aoife Prendergast, careers and employability manager at TUS, said: “The TUS Employability Plus Award recognises the dedication and effort students put into developing their employability skills, which are essential for success in today’s competitive job market.

“We are proud to acknowledge their achievements and wish them all the best in their future careers.”
