FOUR-TIME hurling All-Star Kyle Hayes has grabbed the headlines at a Harness Race Meeting in Dunmanway, county Cork.

The gifted 28-year-old Kildimo sportsman guided home ‘Someone’s Fantasy’ in a feature race on the George Deane Memorial Day card.

Fittingly, his silks were in the colours of Limerick.

“Congratulations to Kyle getting his first win in harness racing. Kyle drove Someone’s Fantasy owned by C&H syndicate and trainer by Jamie Cross,” wrote a post from the organising committee on Facebook.

“Kyle will be back on the bike again on the 13/14 July at the Richard Phelan Memorial weekend in Lyre, Clonakilty, after he helps Limerick against Cork in the All-Ireland Hurling semi-final next Sunday in Croke Park.”
