SUBCONTRACTING manufacturer Takumi is making significant strides in the highly regulated MedTech and Aerospace industries.

With a workforce of over 130, Takumi specialises in producing hight-precision medical components used in joint replacement surgeries. These components are crucial in restoring flexibility and improving the quality of life for patients.

Takumi also plays a vital role in the aerospace industry, where they supply essential parts to giants like Boeing and Airbus while ensuring to remain ahead of the curve, ready to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Takumi proudly announced the acquisition of Limerick Lasers in 2023, now known as Takumi Lasers.  This tactical move, the company says, shows its commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in precision engineering and expanding its offering.

The acquisition of Takumi by The Acrotec Group in July 2022 marked a significant milestone in the company’s history. This strategic move accelerated the company’s growth plans, particularly in Limerick, where it continues to thrive under the leadership of CEO Donal Galligan.
