FINE Gael Senator Maria Byrne believes that Shannon Airport has so much to offer and the scope of its offering has expanded, she said in the Seanad this recently.
With a report published this month stating that Dublin Airport is the eighth most stressful airport in Europe, Shannon Airport, Byrne pointed out, is easily accessible.
“It was one of the first airports that did not require passengers to take their travel bags out of their luggage. There are many car parking spaces, the lack of which was a knock on Dublin Airport as it was ranked the eighth most stressful airport in Europe.
“Shannon Airport has so much to offer and the scope of its offering has expanded,” she said.
