LIMERICK are through to the semi-final of the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Ladies Football Championship following Sunday’s runaway (6-15 to 0-6) victory over Kilkenny at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.

It earns last season’s runners-up a tilt with Fermanagh the weekend after next.

The big scores came from Monagea trio Deborah Murphy, Karen O’Leary and Grace Mullane, along with Cathy Mee (Ballylanders), captain Róisín Ambrose (Old Mill) and Kate Kennedy, St. Ailbe’s.

Limeirck are joinlty managed by Seán Kiely and Mike Quilligan.

Meanwhile, Limerick preserved their senior status in camogie with a concluding round 2-17 to 3-12 win over Antrim at the same venue earlier in the weekend.

Caoimhe Costello (0-9) of Adare and Monaleen’s Caoimhe Lyons (2-2) helped Limerick’s cause no end.
