LIMERICK’S Live 95 local radio station has announced that Down Syndrome Limerick is to be its new charity partner, after a countywide callout to listeners.

Limerick’s local radio station did a public call-out earlier this year, seeking application for a new charity partner.

Over 20 good causes responded, with remarkable stories of achievements and plans to help people in their local communities, based on their founding principles and the dedicated services that they provide within the wider Limerick community.

After much consideration, it was decided to invite Down Syndrome Limerick to join Live 95 as official charity partner for 2024 and 2025.

The charity provides support and services to people with Down syndrome and their families, the running of which require ongoing fundraising campaigns.
