Summer Party time with Seoda Shows and an exciting lineup of cutting edge artists

Dublin trio, Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra join Cardinals and Australian band Radio Free Alice this Sunday June 30 for the Seoda Shows Summer Party happening at Dolans Warehouse.

DOLANS based Seoda Shows will host their Summer Party on Sunday June 30. The line up will feature Cork based Cardinals – The critically acclaimed alternative rock, folk and shoegaze band with accordion hail from Kinsale. The band’s profile has risen over the past two years with the release of the EP ‘If I Could Make You Care’, an appearance on Other Voices and now they are on the bill with Kings Of Leon and The War on Drugs at Marley Park, Dublin this Summer.

Also on the bill is Radio Free Alice. They are one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming young bands. RFA’s angular sound feels fresh and immediate, whilst reminding fans of classic post punk /garage pop-rock (like Talking Heads, The Cure, The Smiths and The Sunny Boys, as well as contemporary rock stars like Parquet Courts, Ought and The Strokes).

Dublin quartet Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra are building up to their debut album release coming soon via Anon Records with a busy schedule of shows and new single ‘Problem Child’. Lush and Sleeper fans, get in early to see PCRO.

Completing the lineup is Theatre, Limerick band Theatre have built up a positive reputation for their live show since forming last year. The five piece (Maeve O’Shea, Dara Gooney, Oscar Halpin, Dean Justice and Sean Storan) have worked hard on their sound blending folk, post-punk and new-wave.

“We all seemed to bond over bands like The Pogues, The Cure and even Thin Lizzy. We get the Cranberries reference occasionally but we think the music very much has its own unique sound and could be the start of something big.” says guitarist Dara Gooney
