ANALOG Devices’ (ADI) commitment to the Mid West was cemented last year when it announced a new €630million investment at its European regional headquarters in the Raheen Business Park in Limerick.
The investment has enabled the construction of a new, state-of-the-art, award-winning 45,000 sq-ft research and development and manufacturing facility.
The new facility will support ADI’s development of next-generation signal processing innovations designed to accelerate the digital transformation of industrial, automotive, healthcare, and other sectors.
The investment is expected to result in 600 new jobs and the tripling of wafer production capacity at ADI’s European regional headquarters in Limerick.
In 2022, ADI announced a separate investment of €100million in ADI Catalyst, its 100,000 sq-ft custom-built facility for innovation and collaboration at its Limerick campus.
The global semiconductor leader, ADI empowers the Intelligent Edge with the most innovative analog, digital, and software solutions, accelerating breakthroughs that benefit society and the planet.
ADI was one of the first US high-tech companies to establish a presence in Ireland in 1976. Now employing over 1,300 people, the Analog Devices campus in Limerick is home to ADI’s European based Research and Development Centre and Ireland global operations manufacturing facility.
