Strong lineup of special guests announced for Hermitage Green’s headliner at Docklands

AFTER two sold out Big Top shows in December, Hermitage Green have announced some very special guests as part of the Docklands Festival on Saturday August 24.

The band have gone from strength to strength, touring Australia and releasing two new singles ‘Younger Days’ and ‘All you can be’ following up on their last album release ‘Hi Generation’ produced by Phil Magee.

Joining Hermitage Green at Docklands on Saturday August 24 is Le Boom, Lucy McWilliams and Oscar Blue.

Le Boom makes irresistible high energy dance music. The brothers emerged from secret raves described as “4am chats with your mates”. Since then, the infectious energy of their live performance has prompted lightning-fast sellouts for dates across Europe including a sold-out 3000 capacity warehouse show in Dublin, two sold out nights at the 3Olympia as well as sold out shows in London and Spain. 

After appearances at festivals like Forbidden Fruit, All Together Now, Secret Garden Party and Latitude, Le Boom captured euphoria on their latest singles ‘Orange Glow’ and ‘Class’.

The spoken word lyricism offers cathartic contrast between tongue-in-cheek narration and iridescent synth work. The tracks garnered national radio play in the UK and Ireland with notable support from Pete Tong, Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

London based singer-songwriter, Lucy McWilliams amassed 15 million streams with her debut single ‘Fair Play’ with spoken word artist Maliki. Hotpress heralded Lucy as having ‘a voice as rich as velvet and killer musical instincts’ when she was featured on their Hot For 2021 list. Lucy continued to release a string of singles in 2021 and 2022 working with frequent collaborator, producer: Charlie Hugall. Lucy has also spent the past year performing for audiences across Europe. Notable support shows include Arlo Parks, Two Door Cinema Club and Inhaler as well as festival performances at Otherside Festival, Neighbourhood Festival and Electric Picnic.

East-Clare native, Oscar Blue began writing music at the age of 13, in 2018, the recently turned 23 year old began to share his songs with a worldwide audience. Since his debut release Oscar Blue has been streamed over five million times in over 79 countries.

Influenced at a formative age by the passion, integrity and spirit of Irish artists such as Damien Dempsey and the modern, folk-pop sound of acts such as Vance Joy, Oscar Blue is fast becoming one of the Irish music scene’s most exciting prospects.

He sold out his debut show at Whelan’s followed by a tour of the east coast of the US culminating in a headline show at New York’s renowned Rockwood Music Hall.
