A LIMERICK-based company has announced that it will join the UK-based Valorem Group.
Translit, an interpreter software company who are headquartered in Limerick will join the Valorem Group, while also merging with fellow group member DA Languages a Manchester-based provider of interpreting services.
The deal will see the creation of 40 new jobs by 2025, 10 of which have already been filled.
Under the terms of the deal, the company will continue to operate as Translit and its founder Alex Chernenko will remain as CEO.
Since being founded in 2009, Translit has provided translation services, and has successfully bid for a number of high-profile translation contracts, including work for a number of Irish government departments, tripling revenue in 2022 and 2023.
Alex Chernenko, Founder and CEO of Translit said that the deal is a “positive milestone” in the company’s story.
