ON SUNDAY August 4, Limerick people are invited to join the Mater Hospital Foundation’s ‘Marilyn’s Mater Paddle’ in an effort to fundraise for women’s cancer treatment at the Bray South Promenade Beach.
Grace Mongey Gernon, beauty influencer, helped organise the event with the Mater Hospital Foundation.
Joining the event will be Keilidh Cashell, creator of KASH beauty, and Carly Mahady, podcaster and breast cancer survivor.
Fundraisers have helped purchase PET/CT and mammogram scanners at the Mater Hospital Foundation previously, with the hope that ‘Marilyn’s Mater Paddle’ will allow for more medical infrastructure.
