Limerick deli manager a cut above the rest at national awards

A LOCAL deli manager has been crowned with a top award at the recent ShelfLife Grocery Management Awards.

Catherine Markham, who works in Mace on Thomas Street in Limerick City, won the Delicatessen/food-to-go Manager of the Year award at the awards.

Now in their 19th year, the ShelfLife retail management awards honour those in the retail industry that go above and beyond in their work.

Keith Crawford, sales director with Mace, said that the “the honour of being a winner at the annual ShelfLife National Grocery Management Awards is an acknowledgement of the ongoing excellence of Catherine and all the team in MACE Thomas Street.”
