THREE lucky Limerick locals won €80,000 from two National Lottery scratch cards.
“I wouldn’t normally buy a €10 scratch card, but it just caught my eye and I got it. I went out and scratched it in the car and saw I’d won €50,000″, said one lucky winner who chose to remain anonymous.
Another Limerick shopper got more than he bargained for in Moloney’s of Broadford.
“I thought it was €10,000 that I had won at first and then I scratched off the tripler section to reveal a 3X. I couldn’t believe it!” he said.
