Garryowen's Conor Murray has been named on the Ireland squad.

IRELAND head coach Andy Farrell has included three Limerick players in his 35-man squad for next month’s Tour of South Africa.

Named among the backs are Conor Murray (Garryowen), Shannon’s Craig Casey and Calvin Nash of Young Munster, while also in the panel are the trio’s fellow Munster players Jack Crowley, Tadhg Beirne, Oli Jager, and Peter O’Mahony, captain.

Ireland will assemble at the IRFU High Performance Centre in Dublin on Thursday to begin preparations for the two-match Test Series against the Springboks, before departing for Johannesburg on Tuesday next.

Farrell’s side tackle the World Champions in the first Test in Pretoria on Saturday, July 6, before heading on to Durban for the second and final Test the following weekend.
