GARDAI are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a house on the outskirts of Limerick.
Gardaà said they were “investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at a residence in Newport”.
The body of the woman, in her 40s, was discovered at a the residence on Tuesday evening, 18th June.
“A post-mortem is expected to take place later today (this Wednesday) at University Hospital Limerick; the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation,” a Garda spokesman said.
“The Coroner has been notified. Investigations are ongoing,” he said.
