TWO Limerick students have been awarded for their project at the Foróige Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
18-year-old Taha Njie and 16-year-old Aidan Oscar from Coláiste Chiarain in Croom took the prize for Best Innovation for their ‘Portanos’ project.
The students’ project is a medical device to analyse ECG data. Taha Nije said that the pair are “delighted, we want to thank the judges and everyone who supported us along the way.
“The whole experience has been great and we’re so excited to head to Berlin later this year to represent our county and Ireland at the European Youth Entrepreneur Awards.”
