Former MIC lecturer launches short story collection

A NEW collection of short stories by Pádraic Breathnach, a former lecturer in Mary Immaculate College in the Irish department for many years, has been launched.

Póg mo Thóin agus Scéalta Eile delves deep into the complexities of human relationships.

Whether at their genesis or demise, amidst their construction or destruction, he paints a vivid picture of the intricacies of both healthy and unhealthy connections.

Breathnach, born in Coill Bruachlán, Maigh Cuilinn, County Galway in 1942, is renowned for his short story collections like An Pincín agus Scéalta Eile (1996) and Ingne Dearga Dhaideo (2005).

The publisher is Cló Iar-Chonnacht and it costs €15.
