CIVIL engineering firm Actavo, currently working on pharmaceutical multinational Eli Lilly’s €500million factory in Limerick, has donated €2,102.50 to the Milford Care Centre.
The donation follows a charitable safety initiative run by Actavo to encourage safety observation reports during the construction of the pharmaceutical firm’s manufacturing plant, donating €2.50 for each report filed.
Milford Care Centre is a non-profit organisation providing palliative and older persons care in the Mid West.
Anne Marie Hayes, fundraising manager for Milford Care Centre, said that the local centre was “thrilled to receive this generous donation from the industrial team” at Actavo.
